Factors Affecting Water Demand:
- Phase analysis
- Phase analysis is improved by the NuGyp process, anhydrite levels reduced and residual gypsum reduced
- Particle shape
- Particle size distribution
- Particle shape and size distribution not significantly affected
- Dispersivity / Disintegration
- Degree of particle breakup on mixing with water can be adjusted as needed for end use application
- Surface Energy
- Reduction in surface energy makes stucco particles act more independently from one another in suspension in water making them easier to “wet” and mix
